 abstract={The beginning of Donald Trump's second term coincides with changes in the Middle East. The U.S. president wants to take advantage of them to force Arab states to pursue policies favourable to Israel and U.S. economic interests. This is indicated by Trump's offer to Saudi Arabia to make a large investment in the U.S. in exchange for his first official foreign visit and by his call for OPEC countries to increase oil production. The priority of Arab countries will be to convince the new administration to maintain U.S. involvement in the security of the region, with restraint towards Iran.},
