 abstract={On 21 November, the Pre-Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, and Hamas leader Muhammed Deif. The decision is a major political blow to Israel and will deepen its international isolation. Carrying out the order is a highly polarising issue in transatlantic relations and, from the perspective of the countries of the Global South, a test of the credibility of the attitude of Western countries towards the ICC.},
