Abstrakt:

On the eastern external border of the European Union and NATO, migration has sharply increased as Belarus seeks to aggravate relations with its EU neighbours. The Baltic States define the delivery of migrants from outside Europe to the EU border by the Belarusian regime as comprising elements of a hybrid attack. Therefore, they want a revision of the Union's migration policy and count on the Alliance's continued solidarity in the field of border protection. Poland, which is also dealing with the Belarussian forced migration, should continue to strengthen cooperation, first of all, with Lithuania and Latvia, as well as with Estonia, in case the actions of the Belarusian authorities become a regular tool of pressure on the EU.
