Abstract:

The Berlin Process, launched five years ago, resulted in successes in several fields of cooperation between the Western Balkan countries. However, it did not accelerate European integration, which is the EU’s main goal in the Balkans. It is in Poland's interests not only to encourage the Member States to work for the development of the region, but also to encourage them during the July Berlin Process summit in Poznań to offer a more ambitious approach to enlargement policy.
